Don’t waste your b-roll

It’s easy to get swept away creating content for trends without thinking about whether it will help you make more sales.

The key to content that primes your audience to buy is not sharing whatever you think might be valuable to them using POVs with a lifestyle reel rolling in the background…

And don’t get me wrong I’m all for creating fun b-roll content buttt only if it actually makes sense in the journey of building your personal brand and priming your audience to buy..

Instead of choosing random topics to post about in your socials strategy ask your self this one key question:

What does my audience need to know before they would be a good fit for my offer.

And if you feel like you’re repeating yourself in your content or if it feels too basic, good. Remember you aren’t where your ideal client is at.

It should sound boring and repetitive to YOU 😅 that is the sign of good content.

You want your audience to have a good understanding of the themes that come up in your offer before diving deeper with you.

If content feels a little random to you it sure as hell will feel random to your audience who won’t feel ready to buy.

So to write great content you have to have a great offer to draw from…

Before you write your next piece of how to content, go back to your offer first and start with telling them why they need what you were going to share with them anyway….

You want your audience to know the basics nailed and be familiar with the language you use!

Give it a go and share with me how it goes and remember people aren’t looking to learn everything on IG, they just want quick wins they can implement the next day, a perspective shift or light bulb moments that helps them see things differently or something that makes them feel seen because it’s so relatable.

OBSESSIONS

(things I found on the internet and got obsessed with)

Talking about things that make you feel seen this one is for the mummas out there..

A few reasons this is a GREAT reel …first, there is a visual + auditory hook right at the beginning of the reel (the daughter steps (movement) onto the yellow block right at the beat dropping) second, the written hook is SO good bc 1. it calls out/identifies who she is speaking to (millennial parents) and speaks to their core desires (giving kids a low-screen and play based childhood) and 2. she adds in what they are trying to do but might not be working (spending all day entertaining their kids)!

You can bet I downloaded her guide and am now in her funnel for her best selling offer CLEVER!
