Before getting clear on my personal brand, I often felt like I was all over the place. My messaging was as clear as mud and I’d get feedback that clients didn’t know what to expect from working together. While an element of mystery is cool, people don’t generally buy services based on the unknown.
Things changed when I decided it was time to level up and get clear on my unique marketing message and it’s actually wild looking at the reach of some of my content – check it out below! I wanted to share with you 6 things that really helped me go from dreading posting to standing out online:
Clarity on my personal brand: by combining my passion, understanding my Human Design and doing market research.
Making things less about me and what I was experiencing and more about how to help others.
Getting super clear on my content pillars and just staying in my own lane, not comparing myself to others.
Learning about different types of content and how to write/ communicate in a way that lands and converts.
Commitment to communicating as a vessel to help others, rather than just writing when I was inspired.
Not worrying about the format and instead focusing on the value – I’ve done 1 reel in about 6 months and my audience has grown by thousands, with posts reaching over 200K.
It made me realise that we can use all the strategic marketing and sales tactics going – some of which are helpful – or we get fully clarity on our personal brand message and put our heart soul into showing our community love, getting to know what they need help with, sharing our stories and guidance with them and building their trust.
